Measurement before optimization
Most SEO optimization is done before the measurement is properly set up. This creates a fundamental problem: if you cannot accurately attribute where your traffic and conversions are coming from, you cannot confidently say which SEO changes produced which results. You are optimizing blind.
Setting up analytics correctly before starting any optimization work is the single most reliable way to know whether the SEO is working. This seems obvious, but most sites we audit have significant gaps in their measurement setup: GA4 properties not fully configured, conversions not tracked, organic search attribution broken because Search Console is not connected, and no way to distinguish between different types of organic traffic.
GA4 configuration
We configure the GA4 property to track the events that actually matter for your business. For most businesses, this means form submissions, phone calls, purchases, email clicks, and scroll depth on key pages. We set up these events either through the tag manager or direct implementation, and verify them in real-time view before the setup is considered complete.
The reporting layer
Raw GA4 data is difficult to read for ongoing monitoring. We build a Looker Studio dashboard that translates the raw data into the metrics your team actually needs to review: organic sessions by landing page, keyword-driven traffic trends, goal completion by channel, and month-over-month comparisons. The dashboard updates automatically and can be shared with your entire team.
